I'm just reaching out to the DCHAS community.
I have recently finished working for the OPCW after working for the UK Government and am heading out (with baby steps) into the freelancing and consulting world.
I am a chemical safety and security expert having spent over 20 years working in the following areas:

Safe Systems of Work in High-Hazard laboratories where high-hazard materials (chemical surety materials and nontraditional agents in the US) were synthesised on a small scale (including
radiolabelled micro-synthesis)

Synthesis and handling of high-hazard materials
I have a PhD in synthetic chemistry from the University of Manchester and a NEBOSH safety qualification also.
Although much of my experience e involves UK and EU regulatory frameworks, I am familiar with other jurisdictions including the US.
I am UK-based and would be excited to get involved or support any project where my expertise and experience could make an impact.
