Hi,
Just a reminder to please find a 20-30 minute slot in your calendar to complete the 20-minute questionnaire by COB, Monday, Jan. 29. Again, myself and other LSTs leaders would greatly appreciate your insight into the most valuable resources to be suggested for the ACS LST toolbox.
Best,
Brady
Hi,
On behalf of graduate student safety leaders on
Lab Safety Teams (LSTs) across the country I, a former LST president at UMN and the former DCHAS Peer-Led RAMP Workshop Leader, am requesting your community recommendations for resources that should be assembled into a LST Toolbox for LST leaders.
LSTs often have trouble finding the best resources to learn of safety strategies, safety culture, and how to manage an organization. Safety professionals, other LST leaders, and I developed a 20-minute questionnaire to collect recommendations for resources on a variety of topics. Resources can include books, newsletters, documents published by professional organizations, websites, videos, etc. We ask that you consider blocking off 30 minutes in your calendar to complete the questionnaire by COB, Monday, Jan. 29. Since we have already reached out to some groups, please do not fill out the survey a second time.
The results will be assembled and submitted as a recommendation to ACS on what they should consider including and developing for a LST Toolbox that would serve as a "one stop shop" for LST leaders to gather valuable knowledge. The results are not part of a research project and will not be used for any form of publication. They will solely provide our working group with information on what resources are deemed the most valuable and useful.
Again, please consider blocking off 30 minutes in your calendar to complete the 20-minute questionnaire by COB, Monday, Jan. 29.
Best,
Brady
