Smith College, located in Northampton, MA, has an opening for a Lab Safety and Compliance Specialist. This is a position where we would consider a candidate who is currently a bench researcher with biological lab experience who is interested in a position in laboratory safety and compliance, as well as a candidate with that lab experience who has already transitioned to an EHS position.
I have great colleagues and work with faculty and students who are partners in safety and compliance. Smith College has both NSF and NIH funding and has a vibrant research program year-round which includes master's degrees and Ph.D students through the Five College Cooperative Ph.D program.
