A vaporized hydrogen peroxide system uses 35% HP. It is supplied in a closed container the operator installs in the equipment. The HP is flash vaporized and routed to the chamber. In the Steris device, the HP vapor is discharged into an exhausted enclosure or the room. The vapor must be managed correctly.
This equipment MUST be properly installed. Operators need proper training, and a PM contract is strongly advised as the equipment is high maintenance.
It can be managed as a moderate risk installation if done properly. Read the technical spec sheet to learn more.

Hi All,
One of the departments I am responsible for here is buying a VHP 100i sterilizer, that uses a mist of hydrogen peroxide.
Does anyone know if this is safe? Ever since writing about Piranha solution, I have been sensitive to the explosive potential of hydrogen peroxide.
