Registration is open for all five half-day workshops being offering the week of September 16. The listing includes a new course covering the implications of the new Methylene Chloride Standard for laboratory facilities. The complete Schedule is below:
“How to Create a Better Lab Safety Program” – Jim Kaufman, Laboratory Safety Institute- Monday September 16
“Why Fume Hoods Go Wrong- And How to Make Them Right” – Victor Neuman, FumeHoodCertified.com - Tuesday September 17
“Assessing and Updating Laboratory Safety Protocols for Methylene Chloride” – Timothy Barton, Laboratory Safety Institute – Wednesday September 18
“Laboratory Waste Management” – Russ Phifer, WC Environmental, LLC – Thursday September 19
“How to be a More Effective Chemical Hygiene Officer” – Russ Phifer, WC Environmental and Jim Kaufman, Laboratory Safety Institute – Friday September 20
All workshops will run from 1PM ET – 5PM ET. The cost for each course is a modest $210.00. A gentle reminder that workshops are an important revenue source for the Division, and that everyone can benefit from continuing education!
