Pat:
I hope this gets to you. It was an absolute pleasure to learn that you received the 2025 ACS Outstanding Volunteer Award. You are truly deserving of the Award. My remembrance of my first time working with you was on the committee to prepare a document for safety on teaching elementary science. It was at a National ACS meeting that you drove me and someone else to Jay Young's home for the meeting. Was it sometime in the 1980s? We have worked together on chemical safety many times in DCHAS and CCS matters. Again, my congratulations on the Award.. It was always a pleasure to see and talk with you at national meetings.

Our friend Pat Reddden has been selected as ACS Volunteer of the Year for 2025! Congratulations! So well deserved.
