Demystify:
As most in our community are aware, we’ve been fighting a battle against burning alcohol demonstrations have that injured over 100 people in dozens of incidents that we’ve seen over the plastic several years: http://www.ilpi.com/safety/demosafety.html

It turns out that this is also an issue with “table top flame pots” - small alcohol stoves.  There have been a number of documented injuries and incidents where people tried to refuel these from jugs of alcohol and caused a flame jetting incident, so many now the US Consumer Product Safety Commission recently issued a recall notice for one brand: https://www.cpsc.gov/Recalls/2025/Colsen-Recalls-Fire-Pits-Due-to-Risk-of-Serious-Burn-Injury-from-Flame-Jetting-and-Fire-Spreading-Hazards

This issue has apparently been known for many, many years, and recalling this one brand won’t stop it when the real issue is the need for flame arrestors on alcohol containers.  Check out this video from 2019!  https://m.facebook.com/watch/?v=353134525572162&vanity=Kenorafirehttps://m.facebook.com/watch/?v=353134525572162&vanity=Kenorafire

Stay safe!
