I read your e-mail about the safety orientation for graduate students at UCLA. The contents are very comprehensive. It must have taken you guys lots of effort to set it up. Great job!

In fact, I did safety orientations for the international scholars in our institute. My current orientation is 2-3 hours, covering general safety knowledge, compressed gas safety, electrical safety, and laser safety. I also do case analysis during the training. The orientation is usually well-received. And I've been getting invitations from other institutes, more than I can do personally (I do the safety job as a volunteer besides my research). An online course from a US university would be very convenient for international students in China, but the administration may not allow it because of the potential "ideology" problem (e.g. I had a hard time using Inorganic Chemistry by Shriver & Atkins as the official text book for my course).

Therefore, I've been thinking about making an online course myself, so international students in China could watch it. As you know, this means a lot of work and I couldn't do it all by myself because this is a part-part-time job. Luckily, I saw your email when I was thinking about whom to look for help.

I'm wondering if it is possible that you could share the course materials with me. I'll make sure that all credits are properly acknowledged. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
