Dear DCHAS colleagues,
Our team at Salt Lake Community College (& an ACS affiliate) is conducting a study on how lab notebook skills are being taught in higher education. This project has been reviewed and approved under SLCC’s IRB (IRB# 0624202501).
We would be very grateful if you could take a few minutes to complete our short survey:

We are especially interested in hearing how lab notebook pedagogy intersects with safety training. For example:
Your input will help us capture a more complete picture of current practices and inform best-practice guidelines that connect documentation, reproducibility, and safety culture.
If you find the survey relevant, please also share it with colleagues in your networks. Every response strengthens the dataset.
With appreciation,
David EldrEdge — Co-Principal Investigator / Chemistry Adjunct, SLCC
Dr. Alex Dainis — Co-Principal Investigator / helicasemedia.com, Scientific Communication (ACS affiliation)
Prof. Mary Alvarez — Program Strategy Advisor / Chemistry Chair, SLCC
E. Friel, K. Kruisman, E. Morris — Student Research Associates, SLCC
Warm regards,
