Dear CHAS members,
As part of our ongoing efforts to strengthen and sustain CHAS activities, we are seeking nominations (including self-nominations) for the CHAS Development Committee Chair role.
The Development Committee plays a critical role in advancing CHAS by supporting sponsorships, external partnerships, and fundraising activities that enable our strategic initiatives. The Chair serves as the primary liaison to the ACS Development Office and
works closely with the CHAS Executive Committee to identify and pursue aligned opportunities. For additional details about the committee’s scope and responsibilities, please refer to the
CHAS Administrative Manual.
We encourage members with strong interest or experience in development, sponsorship engagement, industry or institutional partnerships, or strategic fundraising to consider this leadership opportunity or to nominate a colleague who would be an excellent fit.
To submit a nomination, please send the nominee’s name, affiliation, and a brief statement of interest (1–2 paragraphs) to me directly. If you would like to discuss the role or expectations before nominating, feel free to reach out.
