[DCHAS-L] Lab Coat Programs Through CINTAS
We figure out the cost per coat for the semester, and we have the students pay that as a fee (comes out to $47 for the semester currently). For most of our labs we use Catalyst (Lab Flow) and Lab Flow adds the $47 to the price of their software and then sends
us a check twice a year for the lab coat fees they collect. For the rest of our labs (who don’t use it), we charge the students the $47. We have setup a process to deduct $47 from their university accounts for the lab coats. It is like selling a lab coat card,
but we literally swipe their university one card and deduct the $47 from their accounts.

Hello,
I was wondering how institutions pay for their lab coat programs. Has anyone who uses CINTAS for cleaning lab coats passed the cost onto students by selling lab coat cards? If so, and you are willing to help me out, please email me.
Thank you,
