We have made a water collector for testing the safety showers by placing a
55 gallon drum with a bottom side outlet with a valve. Attached to the drum
we have a rod and a circular shower curtain. We place the drum under the
shower, raise the curtain and test the shower. We are fortunate that there
are several floor drains, not under the showers, that we can empty the water
from the drum. This works well and moves freely from shower to shower.
