Stressgen Biotechnologies---We require that employees WORKING in the Lab
wear a lab coat. If the individual is sitting at a lab bench desk (they are
at the end of the lab benches) and doing paper work then they are not
required to wear it. Similarly if one enters the lab to get a file or data
and then leaves again they are not required. But anytime they are actively
working on a research/ manufacturing project they must wear one.

Can we also open this discussion to appropriate clothing? For example,
skirts and the 3/4 length pants that are being worn. What about mid drifts
and low rider pants? Do anybody have any experience dealing with this
"fashion" and working in a chemical lab? If so what has your company doing
about it?
