For those interested in lab safety training, this is to let you know
that Gene Shematek, of Telus Sourcing Solutions Inc., and yours truly
will be leading a 2-day lab safety course at Pittcon 2005 in Orlando
Fla, on February 26 and 27.

The course is entitled Laboratory Safety - Basics and Beyond. This will
not be your typical CHP course, rather it is an evidence-based approach
involving the application of the principles of health and safety and
occupational hygiene to laboratory issues. The course promises to be
lively and dynamic as it will feature case studies, plenty of lab images
and video clips, discussions and problem-solving workshops to enable
participants to focus on real-life issues.

For more information, go to:

www.pittcon.org

click on "short courses information" near the bottom of the left
sidebar, then look up course #594

Regards.
