Ed,

You will find the proper policy statement regarding clothing appropriate
for undergraduate chemical laboratory work in the ACS publication
(available from the Chemical Safety Staff person at 202-872-4600) titled
Safety in Academic Chemical laboratories, Volume one and two.

Jay Young

You should already have a copy of this authoritative publication, so
maybe there is a copy of an old edition (one volume) on your shelves
somewhere. Look for it, and then get the current edition -- single
copies are free.
