For the specific requirements go to and download the Candidate
Handbook. That goes into all the details. As others have said, this is not
a state certification so the requirements are the same everywhere.

Subject: [DCHAS-L] Certified Industrial Hygenist

Does anyone know what is required in Michigan to be a certified industrial
hygienist? I had an inquiry from my SHE officer. Our insurance company is
probably interested in having this since my company handles a lot of highly
flammable material.
