Subject: Nanotechnology Funding Update

Nanotechnology Update

NIOSH, NIH, and EPA Jointly Announce Funding Opportunity NIOSH joined  
with the National Institutes of Health and the U.S. Environmental  
Protection Agency to solicit grant applications for research that  
will explore interactions between engineered nanomaterials and bodily  
systems. Grant applications are now being accepted under the  
announcement: Manufactured Nanomaterials: Physico-chemical Principles  
of Biocompatibility and Toxicity (R01). The deadline for letters of  
intent is December 13, 2006.
