Dear Shavesha, Depending on nature of your question, there is a lot of information available from a number of sources: NIOSH: http://www.cdc.gov/niosh/topics/nanotech/ ICON: http://icon.rice.edu/ Woodrow Wilson Center: http://www.nanotechproject.org/ UK HSE: http://www.hse.gov.uk/horizons/nanotech.htm What really matters is what you mean by 'nanotechnology' because there are many things being done under that name. What is surfacing as important in the workplace health and safety arena is the proper management of nanomaterials (engineered nanoparticles and nanofibers) and evaluating the potential risks that may be present based on what is known about these materials, how they are handled or processed, and how they are managed. Addressing nanomaterials as part of your overall risk management plan, whether you are manufacturing the materials or bringing them onto your site, is a key starting point. I suspect your HS&E resources at NASA can help with your question. Regards, Chuck Geraci Charles L.
