Something simple and cheap that works is to set up a simple paraffin bath
with a couple of rollers. Place the bottle on the rollers and turn. This
leaves a thin, transparent coating on the bottle that prevents mold, rot, and
cockroaches from eating the glue on the label causing the label to fall off.
