Subject: Support for Wine & Cheese Reception in Philadelphia
The Division of Chemical Health & Safety is planning a wine & cheese
reception in conjunction with the ACS national meeting in Philadelphia
in
August. This event will be free to all Division members; we are raising
the
funds to hold this event through corporate sponsors and private
donations.
One way you can help, though, is to attend a DivCHAS safety workshop at
the
national meeting in New Orleans! The presenters of the How to be a More
Effective Chemical Hygiene Officer workshop have pledged $40 for each
registrant to go towards the cost of the reception. The same $40
contribution will be offered for each advance registration for the
Laboratory Waste Management workshop. You can register online for the
Division=92s workshop program through the Division=92s website at

Abstracts of the workshops are also available on the website. I=92ll be
glad
to answer any questions anyone might have about the workshop program.
