Subject: 2008 Election Results
Dear CHAS Members,
The 2008 CHAS elections have been counted and the results are in.
Congratulations to the following:
Stefan Wawzyniecki
Chair-Elect
Neal Langerman
Treasurer
Frankie Wood-Black
Councilor
Harry Elston
Alternate Councilor
Approximately 25% of our members voted in this election. This is a
great improvement over the paper-ballot system, and we have had many
positive comments about the electronic voting process. We would like
to see the precentage of people voting increase each year, so please
vote when you receive your nominations.
Also, we are always looking for members interested in CHAS
governance. We have numerous committees, liaisons, and other
non-elected positions that have openings in addition to our elected
