I don't know if you buy your HF from Honeywell (the major producer in North
American and Europe) with Headquarters in Morristown, NJ, but they hav
e an excellent on-line series of training seminars:

raining for On-Line HF Training Seminars. These are supposedly free to Hon
eywell customers. I don't know what they charge otherwise, but I have wo
rked with them over many years and they are very knowlegeable and conscient
ious as a chemical supplier. I have both lectured at and attended one of t
heir seminars, and the quality was excellent.
For a "heads up", eventually the active H+ F- decontamination solution,
Hexafluorine(R), will be available in the US (as it is in Europe and oth
er parts of the world). There is also an update coming to the ISEA/ANSI Z3
58.1 Standard for Emergency Eyewashes and Showers which will be of interest
to all Labs.
