Subject: 2009 Nominations

Dear CHAS Members,

This year we have 3 elected positions available for nominations;
Chair, Secretary, and Member-at-Large. Below are the official
responsibilities, taken from the bylaws. As an elected officer, the
Division provides some travel support to attend national meetings. If
you are interested in helping CHAS, but aren't sure where you could
fit in, please contact me to discuss. When I wanted to take a more
active role in the operations/leadership of CHAS, I found the other
officers and committee chairs to be welcoming and very helpful. CHAS
is a great organization, but we are always in need of new people to
keep the organization going.
