Maybe the Tennessee EPA will be more proactive in this since they are
under scrutiny for the Kingston Fossil Plant coal fly ash slurry spill
that released 1.1 billion gallons of 30 years of coal ash build up into
the Cinch river and area (December 2008) . Talk about your heavy metal
pollution! Some of our researchers are working on samples from there. It
is so sad. Surely they would not want to see a giant mercury pool or
whatever it is that these folks are doing under the protection of
religious activity.
