Subject: Presentation Materials from National Meeting Technical Sessions

I thought I would let the DCHAS-L list know that the first batch of
pdf files with the slides from last week's national meeting technical
sessions are available on the CHAS technical archives web page at

http://membership.acs.org/c/chas/techarchive/techarchive.htm

Papers currently available there include:

Ask Dr. Safety about Reactives, Neal Langerman and Harry Elston

Emerging Issues in Laboratory Ventilation - DC, 2009
- The Business Case for Managing Laboratory Ventilation - Phil Hagan,
Georgetown University
- Why Ductless Fume Hoods? - Erik Talley, Weill Cornell Medical College
- Emerging Energy-Saving Technologies Researched by the University of
California - Debbie Decker, University of California, Davis
- Adventures in Lab Ventilation - Robin Izzo, Princeton University
- Chemical Safety Levels, An Idea Whose Time Has Come? - Ralph Stuart,
University of Vermont

More of these presentations will follow as they become available. In
addition, the division's awards symposium was recorded for web
presentation. This recording is expected to be available to DC meeting
registrants in early September and then to everyone a couple of weeks
later.

Let me know if you have any questions about this.

- Ralph
