To: all DCHAS members:
It is with regret that I have to announce that Ed Miller has asked to resig
n as Membership Chair; His academic work load has increased dramatically,
and he feels he cannot devote the time to DCHAS.
I thanked him for all he has accomplished in the short time he worked with
us. We have made some progress in addressing our Division's needs in th
e area of attracting new members, and I do not want to lose momentum. Pl
ease consider nominating someone or volunteering yourself to fill the posit
ion.
I'm sure Ed would not mind to discuss what tasks are part of the job, as we
ll as time commitment.
