Bill,  Life in the labs today is sure different.  I began my teaching career in 1964 at UW-Eau Claire.  I recall my students wanti ng to bring a radio into P-Chem lab so they could listen to the World Series.  I said NO, you are here to do experiments!  They were not happy campers.  Today, such autocratic behavior could lead to denial of tenure.  Yes, it is great to be retired!  Al Denio, Newark, Delaware
