The Division is finalizing the ballot for our annual election, and I am soliciting additional candidates for the Member-at-Large and Councilor positions. Each position is for a three year term.

Members-at- Large are expected to attend at least one of the two annual Division meetings held in conjunction with ACS National Meetings.  All elected members of the Executive Committee currently receive expense reimbursement not to exceed $700.00 to help defray the expenses associated with attending the meeting.

Councilors are expected to attend ACS Council meetings, which are held on Wednesday morning of each ACS National Meeting. ACS provides a substantial reimbursement for Council meeting attendance. The Division does have Alternate Councilors should a Councilor be unable to attend a meeting, but Councilors are expected to attend a minimum of one Council meeting annually.

If you are interested in being listed on the ballot for one of these positions, please let me know immediately, as the ballot will need to be approved by the Executive Committee prior to going out to the general membership.
