Under general direction, the Environmental Programs Manager will develop, implement, and maintain campus environmental programs in support of the campus Integrated Safety and Environmental Management (ISEM) program and help the Campus comply with state and federal regulations including EPA Title 40. Code of Federal Regulations Parts 264 and 265, Resource Conservation and Recovery Act of 1976 (RCRA) as amended (42 U.S.'C. 690.1 et seq.) and Cal/OSHA regulations. Additionally, incumbent will oversee and manage the Hazardous Waste and Materials Management Programs, support the online Waste Tag Program, and manage the Chemical Inventory process. The incumbent will serve as a member of the Campus emergency management and emergency response team and, will lead the campus Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response effort, including emergency response and clean-up operations. The Environmental Programs Manger will oversee the onsite EH&S 90-day Chemical Waste Storage facility.
