The choice of instrumentation depends heavily on exactly what question(s) you are trying to answer. Instrumentation varies is capability and price. Why not retain a knowledgeable consultant, such as a CIH, to assist you in the selection of the instrumentation as well as the design of your sampling plan?

We are looking for a detection system for air quality, specifically hydrocarbons, if present and in what quantity. Does anyone know of such a system or where I can find more information?
