Subject: Re: Home Safety Presentation

That's part of what I cover in the book Pick Your Poison which will be released the first week in March.  My aim is very different from those who just cover keeping bleach and ammonia apart, labeling products carefully, etc.  I want householders to understand the political issues behind product safety regulations and how to do a little research on their products without being fooled by the hype.

And I'll be doing a number of presentations around the country on these kinds of subjects.  And some of the data sheets I write on consumer labeling issues and household paints might be of use.  If you'd like copies, let me know where you want them sent.

I would like to know if anyone in our group has prepared and give a presentation on Chemical Safety at Home?  If you have sources for information on this topic, I would appreciate it if you would share this information with me.
