We have a number of students who wear the headscarf for religious reasons.
We make sure it's firmly under the back and front of the labcoat or apron,
pinning it if necessary

Our labs & shops require a lab coat or apron as appropriate over the
headscarf or other loose clothing worn for religious reasons.
