Subject: Announcement: Green Chemistry Regional Workshop Invitation for
Webinar

FYI -- for EH&S, sustainability or faculty interested in green
chemistry. This is the conference/big kickoff event in Region 1 - June
13 and 14th in downtown Boston. This email also announces the webinar. I
have been active on one of the working groups and plan to attend in
person. This is a big initiative and push in EPA Region 1 -- but these
are challenging times for EPA funding for existing programs, let alone
new initiatives, so it is unclear what resources the region can put
toward this initiative. I know that they do plan to hire someone with
green chemistry/green engineering expertise to support this initiative.
