We cover our histopathology lab under the laboratory standard.  It seemed to make the most sense for their work.  It isn’t a “production”-type operat ion as they do a fair amount of unique tissue preparations.

Hope this helps,

Debbie

Hello,

I am currently worki ng with a histology laboratory on their safety procedures. I am looking for other opinions on whether the OSHA Laboratory Standard applies to a histology laboratory?

Thanks,

Craig
