Subject: Re: CCHO Exam Prep Reading

In addition to the Federal Register from Jan 30, 1990, pages 3300 to 3 335, I would recommend reading:

1. The references cited in appendix B of the standard
2. Safety in Academic Chemistry Labs (free online at ACS.org) bot h volumes
3. 29CFR1910.132, 133, and 134
4. Prudent Practices in the Laboratory from NRC

And time permitting, some of both ... Bob Alaimo's Handbook of Chemica l Health and Safety ... and
The CRC Handbook of Laboratory Safety.

Hello,

Does anyone have any study aid suggestions for the chemical hygiene officer certification exam? I am pla nning on taking the exam, along with the workshop, at the Fall ACS meeting. Any information would be extremely helpful.

Thanks in advance,
