Unfortunately, I'm not a member of AIHA and don't have access to Synergist. Unlike other health and safety, technical publications (Journal of Chemical Health and Safety comes to mind) Synergist doesn't make any of their content available in the public domain. None. :-(

I just finished reading an article in the May 2012 AIHA publication, The Synergist, by Monona Rossol. Very well written, educational, and entertaining. Something I strive for in everything I write and teach to my construction men and women. I would most vigorously recommend that those of you in the arts and in academia find the article and share it with all of your folks who touch the lives of the students and workers in the arts.
