Just a note to let everyone know that the DCHAS Archives are now updating normally again.  New posts had been on a several week hiatus while I searched for the time to do some recoding.


For those who care, we had an issue where the time zones were mucking up the ordering of posts and naming of the files.  The new code should now have posts "in order" as all posting times are now adjusted to the same time zone instead of the time zone of the poster.   There are a few little bugs remaining to be squashed, but for the most part, the far-harder-than-it-sounds conversion from email to HTML is working fine.

A reminder for those unfamiliar with the archives.  You can access them from the DCHAS web site at http://dchas.org/index.php?option=com_wrapper&view=wrapper&Itemid=90 or you can access them directly from where they are being hosted: http://www.ilpi.com/dchas/   They are full-text searchable and browsable by date. There are currently over 6,700 archived posts dating back to 2003.
