As authorized by the Executive Committee, I have been working with our web site administrator to refresh the CHAS web site since the spring national ACS meeting. This is partially for technical reasons (the back end software had a major upgrade which we needed to catch up with) and partially to revise the navigation paths to tell our story to the public while providing better access to our content. We also are developing a social media strategy for the division to effectively distribute our various kinds of information using Twitter, Facebook, Linked-in, etc. as well as the web site and DCHAS-L.

The new web site is now ready for a beta-review by the membership. So, if you have a chance to go to
http://dchas.org/jupgrade/
and try out the various features of the new site and provide me with some feedback about its usability and content, I'd appreciate it.

Thanks for your interest in DCHAS!

- Ralph
