Subject: Symposium on Management of Reactive Chemistry

Highly reactive chemistry, explosive chemistry and extremely toxic materials require special procedures and equipment for safe research handling. The Division of Chemical Health and Safety of the American Chemical Society is organizing a symposium on procedures and equipment to the containment and handling of these chemicals and reactions. The symposium will be at the Fall Meeting of the ACS in Indianapolis during the period 8-12 September, 2013.

You are invited to submit a 20 - 40 minute presentation for the symposium. The presentation can address all aspects of procedures and equipment. We only ask that the equipment presentation address technical content not sales pitches.

Abstracts can be submitted via the ACS PACS system
