Midwest Chemical Safety will be presenting “Essential Information and Training for the Chemical Hygiene Officer” at the Midwest Regional ACS Meeting, on Friday, 18 October 2013. This all-day workshop will include the topics:

Developing the facility Chemical Hygiene Plan
Introduction to GHS - Getting ready for the transition
Developing effective Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Laboratory Hazards and Control

Integrating risk management and exposure control
Registration is now open at https://www.xpressreg.net/eReg/?ShowCode=MWRM103. Registration is $325 for ACS members and $350 for non-ACS members. You do not need to register for the meeting to attend the workshop.

It appears I will be in Missouri in October for the ACS meeting….anything going on for DCHAS?
I’m sure someone has already posted for registrations etc….but I didn’t know until today I was going so I didn’t pay much attention.
