Acute toxicity data, if available, are listed below. Additional toxicity data may be available on request.
Oral LD-50:(rat) 825 mg/kg
Dermal LD-50: ( rat) >2,000 mg/mg
Skin Irritation (rabbit) strong
Skin Sensitization: (guinea pig) none
So it is toxic (500-5000 mg/kg), and an irritant. This must be Eastman's own since I don't see it elsewhere. And I think I'll write to Eastman for the "additional toxicity data." I've looked and looked for chronic anything on it.

FYI, the Elk River where the chemical spilled into, is a tributary that eventually leads into the Ohio River, then into the Mississippi. I had wondered if it was coming my way down the Potomac River. JL
