The Laboratory Safety Institute (LSI) is giving away the School Edition of its Model Chemical Hygiene Plan (list $99) to K-12 Schools and Two-year Colleges.

We are deeply concerned about the unacceptably high number of accidents at schools.  Many who are covered under state or federal regulations have neither a chemical hygiene plan nor a chemical hygiene officer.

Hopefully, the availability of an very good model plan will catalyze efforts to prevent accidents.

Please contact me for more information.

Best wishes for safer science education... Jim
