Aceto Corporation, a global, public company (NASDAQ: ACET) focused on sourcing, marketing, sales, and distribution of human health, pharmaceutical ingredients, and performance chemicals products has an exciting opportunity to join its team as Manager, Environmental Health and Safety to oversee the development, implementation and administration of corporate EH&S programs and policies, including site and/or project specific regulations.

Reporting to the VP, Associate General Counsel ? Regulatory, this position will develop and implement new programs and policies to ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local environmental and safety regulations. The incumbent will work with management and human resources to implement and conduct safety programs, training, and employee orientation, and provide general regulatory and audit support to Aceto Ag and Specialty Chemical Groups for domestic and international product lines. This position will provide regulatory EPA pesticide registration and label review support to CDC Anti-Clog product, conduct routine QA audits of suppliers and warehouses, and oversee company-wide MSDS and label WERCS software.

The ideal candidate will possess an undergraduate degree in Chemistry/Chemical Engineering and/or Environmental Management. Advanced degree or additional EHS training desirable. Minimum of 8 years of experience in EH & S with a minimum of 4 years as a manager. Strong working knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations, including Toxic Substance Control Act (TSCA), Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA), European chemical/hazardous substance regulations (e.g., REACH), hazardous waste/Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA), DOT and FAA/IATA transportation regulations.
