Check with your insurance company - we have an Oregon OSHA approved list. Your state might have one too. Then add all the stuff you actually need!

Folks,

What are the required components to the first aid kits in your labs? I see the ANSI Z308 1-2003 Standard includes burn treatment and antiseptic. I remember being told in a first aid class a few years ago that we should never apply any other treatment than band-aids or gauze. Burn and antiseptic ointments should be left to emergency personnel only. As such, our first aid kits contain gloves, gauze pads, and band-aids only.
