LSI has created a National Academic Research Safety Award for the Principal Investigator with the best lab safety program in his or her research group.

We are looking for at least ten university EHS departments that would like to nominate one of their principal investigators for the Award.

We are also interested in forming a volunteer award committee.  The committee will be responsible for encouraging universities to participate and helping to select the award winner.

Please contact me directly if your institution is interested in nominating a PI or if you know anyone who would like to volunteer to serve on the committee.

Thanks - Happy 4th - Jim
