Re: Best Safety Apps?

I think this may have been addressed before, but since new apps are created all the time, I thought I would ask the question again:

What are some of the best safety apps for smartphones and tablets that you have found?

A related but more specific question: Has anyone found a sound meter app that is accurate? All the free ones I have tried seem wildly inaccurate.
