Demystify:

I really appreciate these chemical safety headlines, especially one as ironic as this:

BLAZE DESTROYS MORGAN SINDALL NOTTINGHAM LAB PROJECT Î? CONSTRUCTION ENQUIRER
Tags: United_Kingdom, laboratory, follow-up, response, unknown_chemical

Morgan Sindallâ??s nearly-finished £16m chemistry lab project in Nottingham has been destroyed after fire engulfed the building on Friday night

Sixty fire fighters and 10 engines battled to bring the fierce blaze under under control but they were unable to save the timber building.

The project was part funded by GlaxoSmithKlein and was billed to be the worldâ??s first zero carbon chemistry laboratory.

Instead it has highlighted how vulnerable timber-frame structures are to fire during the construction phase.
