Sorry, forgot the subject line

I know I've seen space recommendations for an organic chemistry lab at around 100 square feet per person in the lab. For a general chemistry I've seen numbers at about 50-70. For our labs this puts 8 students in each of two rooms for organic lab and 16-18 in each room for general chem (with the teacher).

Have you seen these numbers, or other numbers, and what is a reference? We have some "bean counters" who are talking 95 sg/ft per student in organic - with half of that as storage in a separate room. This would put 16 students, 2 per hood in a 950 sq ft room for organic.
