Hi All,

I would like to let you know that Ralph Stuart was kind enough to present a paper to this year’s ACS CHED online CCCE Fall Newsletter, and we will be discussing it on the ConfChem list tomorrow through Saturday.  Here is a direct link to his paper,

http://confchem.ccce.divched.org/2014FallCCCENLP6

This is a joint CHAS/CINF project that I think is going to be way above the heads of many of the CHED community.  But it is important that we get papers like this out to the CHED community, and I am grateful to Ralph for sharing this project with us.

If you are unaware of ConfChem and the CCCE Newsletter, we post papers and discuss them online by synching the comment feature of the paper to a listserv (like DCHAS-L), except it is the ConfChem list, which has over 850 active email addresses.  The actual discussions thus become part of the paper, and it would be great if some of the members of CHAS joined in and contributed to the discussion of this paper. (There is nothing wrong with discussion other information resources on chemical safety – the idea of the discussion is to add value to the paper as a future resource).

ConfChem is an open list and anyone can participate, although as moderator, I have to add you.  If any of the members of DCHAS-L wish to participate and contribute to the discussion of this paper, they should contact me at rebelford**At_Symbol_Here**ualr.edu .  I will add then add you to the site. Also, at the bottom of each email is an easy link to unsubscribe, and there is nothing wrong with just subscribing when a paper interests you. (You can log on today, and log off on Sunday).

Here is a link to the entire Newsletter

With Cheers and Respect,
