Please consider submitting a paper for the CINF symposium "Chemical Information for Small Businesses and Startups", to be held at the ACS National Meeting in San Diego in March, 2016.

This symposium will discuss the chemical and patent information requirements for small businesses and startups, tools and resources available to and affordable by small businesses, and experiences of entrepreneurs in obtaining the information they need to run their businesses. 

The program will be co-sponsored by SCHB (the Division of Small Chemical Businesses) and CPRM (the Joint Board-Council Committee on Patents and Related Matters).  We are looking for papers that talk about the information needed by small businesses and those just getting underway and the tools available to companies without the resources of large businesses and universities.  This would include presentations on free and low-cost databases, keeping in mind that presenters need to talk about the content and capabilities of the databases and avoid the appearance of sales and marketing presentations..

The deadline for submissions is October 5, 2015.  Just create an abstract and upload it to the ACS's MAPS website at http://www.acs.org/content/acs/en/meetings/abstract-submissions/acsnm251/division-of-chemical-information.html.
